The internet is great for providing things you didn’t know you needed until you find them. For example, this page is The Don Martin Dictionary, an alphabetical listing of all of the sound effects Don Martin used in his MAD illustrations.

Enjoy!

Mark Rogers is creating a 14-month 2021 PLANET OF THE APES TV Series Desktop Calendar. The monthly images are designed to serve as desktop backgrounds. The January image can be seen below, but you need to visit the Archive to download the high-resolution image. (Please do that. Please do not download this version and use it. It'll look terrible.)You'll find the image on the front page under the post about Mark T-B.Thanks, Mark!pota.goatley.com/ ... See MoreSee Less

Mark spent the past few months working on another large collection of APES stills. He took great pride in scanning images, cleaning them up, then sharing high-res files with other APES fans.Over the past few months, he'd been posting sneak peeks of his work in his Facebook group, The Definitive Planet of the Apes. I have gathered those photos and posted them to the Archive to pay tribute to Mark's work. I'm sure he would cringe to think that I'm sharing these heavily-compressed FB images. 😉pota.goatley.com/stills/mtb-unfinished.html ... See MoreSee Less

Incredibly sad news this morning: Mark Talbot-Butler has died. His willingness to share his time and collection with APES fans was immense. Over the years, he contributed nearly 2400 high-quality scans of APES stills to the Archive.RIP, Mark. I will miss you.--Hunterpota.goatley.com/stills/ ... See MoreSee Less
