Ace Frehley

• Joined KISS in 1973.
• Played lead guitar for KISS from 1973 until 1982. Also sang lead and background vocals.
• Born in Bronx, NY, on April 27, 1954.
• Birth name was Paul Frehley.
• Was a cab driver before joining KISS.
• Apparently left because he wasn't happy with the direction the band was taking and because of conflicts with Gene and Paul. Gene and Paul now saw he was asked to leave because of alcholol and drug problems. Who knows?

• Formed Frehley's Comet in 1987. Last release was Trouble Walkin' in 1989. Currently touring "just for the fun of it."
